1996 JUSTICE LEAGUE limited series I colored which led to my coloring the JLA ongoing series... THE KINGDOM crossover event--I colored a few of the individual special event issues like PLANET KRYPTON... I was asked to color THE RAY as a regular colorist for DC Comics while I was still working at Marvel--working with Howard Porter on THE RAY led to future collaborations like JLA... I colored and created digital background art for the DC ONE MILLION crossover event including covers on all DC Comic crossover titles... One of the many BATMAN projects I colored... Chuck Kim, one of the writers on HEROES (the television series) used to be an assistant editor at DC--I filled in as colorist on the STARMAN series for Chuck whenever he asked... Another example of digital backgrounds--I created the 3D artwork used to show off the new Daily Planet designs on this SECRET FILES issue... Prestige format books like this JLA/WILDCATS issue were also projects I colored and had the opportunity to create digital background art for separation... Many of the comic books I worked on were published in multiple languages--this JLA issue was published in Germany... Some books like this ABYSS special had multiple artists and hundreds of characters--projects like these were fun but very time-consuming... One of the first comics I colored--I was also the assistant editor on this custom comic book project... I had a long working relationship with artist Scott McDaniel while at Marvel Comics--when I moved to DC, this was the first project Scott and I did together for DC Comics... Terrible movie, but beautiful comic book adaptation--I colored this adaptation prior to the movie's release... Other editors would ask me to fill in as colorist on their books--Kevin Dooley had me color a few GREEN LANTERN issues on occasion... Comic books were also published as hardcover books--this is one of the BATMAN hardcover books I colored... Every now and then DC and Marvel would team up to publish various crossover projects like AMALGAM--since I worked for both companies, I had the opportunity to color several of these unique issues...
